We’re BAAAA-AAAACK! It was a great offseason. We worked on many projects, reviewed performance, researched new recipes, rested, and now it’s time to go again.

The 2026 market season opened this past Saturday. To be honest, the weather forecast was horrible – rain, chance of storms, gloomy, wet, yuck. But you guys showed up! We sold out of biscuit and gravy by 10am, and lamb sliders not long after. We reunited with customers we hadn’t seen in a while and met many new customers. The morning flew by!

Our “$10 bite” (weekly special) for last week was meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was a big hit, so I’m sure we’ll offer it again at some point this season. This week’s “bite” will be chicken and dumplings – bring your appetite and come early.

Thank you to everyone who braved the wind and rain to visit us at the market. We really appreciate you!

Until Saturday….

Hello! We're Jake's Run. We live on a farm with lots of sheep, 4 dogs, a big garden, lots of jars for canning, a lot of yarn, and a couple of humans. We sell lamb meat, jams and jellies, home grown produce (when it's in season), and crocheted items, including topped towels, dish cloths, etc. Here at the farm, there's always something to be done and it's always under construction. Come along and join us for the fun!
