We have 8 inches of snow and a chance for 1-2 more tonight. The kids have been out of school for 2 days. I’m lucky enough to have a job that allows me to stay home when the roads are treacherous. Yesterday was a welcome bonus, as it was our son’s 13th birthday.

I love looking out the front door to a view of smooth white fields and watching snow fall. Snow makes the world clean and peaceful.

In a few weeks it will be time to get to work. Breaking the ground, plotting the garden, planting the seeds. We’re ready to begin our yearly adventure. Making the deliveries, working the farmer’s market and meeting so many wonderful new people make all of the hard work worth it.
